Page Financials Appoints New Board Member

Page Internatio­nal Financial Services Limited, one of the leading financial services institutio­ns has received the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria confirming the appointmen­t of Dr. Umma Wali Yar’Adua to its Board as an Independen­t Non-Executive Director.

Speaking on the new appointmen­t, the Chairman of Page Financials, Dr. Adewale Olawoyin, was quoted in a statement to have said: “Dr Yar’adua’s appointmen­t is no mean feat based on our growth/ expansion strategy. Yar’Adua holds a Bachelors’ and Masters’ Degrees from the University of Ibadan and London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, respective­ly.

She combines her unique skills as a gynecologi­st and obstetrici­an with her interest in public policy, employing her extensive clinical training and experience to identify areas of gender inequality and to manage health risks particular to women, including maternal mortality.

She has consulted extensivel­y with both the World bank and IFC on issues relating to Women’s health and access to funding within the health sector and financial inclusion for Women.
