Po­lice ar­rest mas­ter­mind of Kuje, Nyanya bomb­ings

Op­er­a­tives of the Nige­ria Po­lice Force, In­tel­li­gence Re­sponse Team (IRT) have ar­rested one Umar Ab­dul­ma­lik, a wanted Boko Haram Com­man­der.

A top se­cu­rity source told Daily Trust Satur­day that Umar Ab­dul­ma­lik is one of the dead­li­est and most-wanted Boko Haram lead­ers, and also a bank rob­ber, as­sas­sin, and ex­plo­sive ex­pert, in Abuja.

He is said to be the mas­ter­mind of the Kuje and Nyanya Abuja bomb­ings of 2015. He is also said to have led the gang which killed seven po­lice­men at Gal­adi­mawa Round­about, as well as other crimes in Abuja, and across the coun­try.
