Police arrest mastermind of Kuje, Nyanya bombings
Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force, Intelligence Response Team (IRT) have arrested one Umar Abdulmalik, a wanted Boko Haram Commander.
A top security source told Daily Trust Saturday that Umar Abdulmalik is one of the deadliest and most-wanted Boko Haram leaders, and also a bank robber, assassin, and explosive expert, in Abuja.
He is said to be the mastermind of the Kuje and Nyanya Abuja bombings of 2015. He is also said to have led the gang which killed seven policemen at Galadimawa Roundabout, as well as other crimes in Abuja, and across the country.
