LETTERS to the

Weekly Trust - - Weekend Magazine - Saturday, January 5, 2019

Dear editor, please permit me space in your prestigious publication, to call the attention of Quality Control people at Nestlé. I’m talking about their bottled water product, particularly the Zincenriched one (which is my favourite), the one with the green cover and label. I’ve noticed that the cover’s top seems a bit thin these days, and keeps breaking. I’ve been buying it for years, so I know this is a recent thing. Please, something should be done, as it is still my favourite, and I’m sure that of many others. Sumayyah Hassan, Garki, Abuja The best news that can come out of 2019 for me is if our refineries are put back to use. Imagine a Nigeria where crude oil is refined at home. Wouldn’t that be just the best new year gift? Politicians should stop bickering and get on with the real issues. Also, electorates had better be wiser this time around or the circle continues. I personally love the way I experienced, for the first time in a long time, a Christmas and New Year period without queuing for petrol.
