WCAS to start next batch of EMBA and BBA weekend programme

-

For the first time in the sultanate, working executives have great opportunity to enhance their educational career to further heights, with the weekend mode programme in Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) introduced by Waljat College of Applied Sciences (WCAS) at KOM, Rusayl.

The weekend mode EMBA and BBA programme, designed by WCAS in academic partnership with Birla Institute of Tech- nology, Ranchi, India, is aimed to give an opportunity to working executives, who are unable to attend regular classes due to their work and family responsibilities.

They can utilise their weekend timings to fulfill their ambition and passion by putting efforts to pursue higher studies and achieve their desired goals in the future.

It is worthwhile to note that EMBA weekend programme has been introduced in the year 2016 and has received a good re- sponse from working executives across Oman. Classes will start in September.

The EMBA and BBA programme is globally recognised and is affiliated to Birla Institute of Technology. WCAS has experienced faculty members, who will be imparting knowledge in the following areas of specialisations: Finance management, marketing management and human resource management.

The EMBA weekend mode programme study period is two years with four semesters whereas BBA weekend mode programme study duration is four years with nine semesters and classes will be held on Friday and Saturday.
