OAB holds ‘Hassad’ savings scheme draw for August

-

Oman Arab Bank (OAB) held its eighth monthly draw of this year’s ‘Hassad’ savings scheme last week, at the Oasis Mall in Madinat as Sultan Qaboos. The live draw was attended by senior members of the bank’s Retail Department.

The draw saw 50 winners receive RO500 together with 38 winners receiving RO1,000 and ten winners for the RO250 child account draws. The draw also saw one customer win the Bumper Draw of RO25,000, as well as an Elite Draw winner of RO25,000.

Rashad al Shaikh, DGM Retail Banking at OAB said, “The Hassad savings scheme continues to encourage the habit of saving amongst our customers to ensure a stable and sustainable future for them as well as rewarding them with great prizes.

“The 2017 Hassad scheme focuses on rewarding customers through two kinds of monthly draws, which alternates every other month over each of our different operating regions together with a national draw. So many prize draws offer greater opportunities for our customers to win.

“This month’s draw was focused on the nation as a whole with winners being selected from amongst our 57 branch network across the country.”

The draw event, which was held at the Oasis Mall, witnessed the participation of many families who joined in the fun. For children, there were a number of fun activities including face painting, games, contests, and even dedicated drawing areas. There were also some special prize draws conducted for attendees of the event and prizes for the participating children.

“On behalf of OAB, I would like to congratulate each of the winners of our Hassad savings scheme draw for the month of August. As well as encourage all of our customers to increase their savings in order to increase their chances of winning hundreds of cash prizes which will continue until the end of 2017,” added Shaikh.

Launched earlier in the year, the new Hassad savings scheme ensures customers from every region and branch have an equal opportunity to win, with the bank conducting prize draws every month alternating between re- gions and nationwide draws.

Each draw ensures a minimum of two winners of RO1,000 per branch in that respective region, together with multiple winners of RO500 across all branches and one Bumper draw of RO25,000 per month.

In order to be eligible for the prize draws, OAB customers need only open a ‘Hassad’ account with a minimum balance of RO100. The bank also conducts region and nationwide draws for children’s accounts with ten winners of RO250 per month.

Oman Arab Bank’s ‘Elite Banking’ for High Net worth customers also benefit from the 2017 Hassad scheme. Elite customers are eligible for draws with a prize pot of RO25,000 monthly, as well as the upcoming year-end prize draw in December of RO50,000.

Oman Arab Bank is one of the first banks to be established in Oman, with a rich and proud history.
