Third successive win for Enhance Eagles
MDC Enhance Eagles recorded its third consecutive victory in the Oman Cricket A Division league as it thrashed Glory Bower Strikers by five wickets at the Al Amerat ground on Saturday.
Strikers won the toss and opted to bat first but was bowled out for paltry 115 in 33 overs.
Vijayanand Dhayanandan (37) and Nidhin Mohan (23) were the only notable scorers. Mohammed Faisal and Omkar Pramod claimed three wickets each while Ananyo Sen and Pradeep Kumar bagged two wickets each.
Eagles achieved the victory in the 27th over as it scored 118 for five. Pranav Mehta (54 not out) and Parth Trivedi (46) were involved in a 66-run partnership to ensure win.

Omani referees for karate meet in Italy
The Oman Karate Committee (OKC) in its endeavour to provide its referees with interna- tional exposure is sending five Omani referees to Italy to officiate in the Venice Cup Karate Championship in Venice.
The Venice Cup will be held from November 15 to 19. The referees selected are Ahmed al Zakwani, Salim al Qutaiti, Suleiman al Hinai, Yousuf al Siyabi and Hilal al Abdali.
