LOCAL CRICKET Ubaidullah shines as Enhance stuns Assarain
Young pacer Ubaidullah made a dream debut in the Oman Cricket Premier Division when he grabbed four wickets for 23 to help Enhance upset defending champion Assarain by four wickets at Al Amerat ground on Thursday.
Opting to bat first, Assarain was bowled out for 161 in the 36th over. Wasim Ali bagged two for 35. Opener Sami Ur Rah- man was Assarain’s top-scorer with 56 while Sanuth Ebrahim contributed 31.
Enhance registered its first victory of the season in the 44th over, scoring 164 for six. Opener Jehanzeb Ali scored 57 while Mehran Khan remained unbeaten on 34. Spinner Shakeel Ahmad picked up three wickets while pacer Sindo Michael took two wickets.
