LOCAL CRICKET Tahir’s blitz in Jarzez victory
Tahir's hurricane 70 off 33 balls, which included ten boundaries and a six, led Jarzez Trading to a seven-wicket victory against Sam Royals in an Oman Cricket H Division match at OAC Three ground in Seeb on Saturday.
Put to bat, Sam Royals was restricted to 124 for eight in 20 overs. Asharaf (38) and Anudeep (21) were the notable scorers. Suhail and Shahid Ali picked up three and two wickets respectively.
Jarzez raced to the target in just 10.3 overs, scoring 125 for three, thanks to Tahir’s knock. Rajneesh Jangir chipped in with a fluent 26 off 21.
