Tow­ell Auto Cen­tre wins Geely global award

Tow­ell Auto Cen­tre (TAC), the sole dis­trib­u­tor of Geely in Oman, known for their tried-andtested cars, prompt ser­vice and up to 97 per cent parts avail­abil­ity, have been se­lected by Geely Au­to­mo­bile In­ter­na­tional Cor­po­ra­tion, as the Ex­cel­lent Dis­trib­u­tor –2017, in terms of Spare Parts Man­age­ment.

Tow­ell Auto Cen­tre Spare Parts Divi­sion was awarded ‘Geely Global Best Dis­trib­u­tor for Spare Parts Man­age­ment’ for the year 2017. This award, the sec­ond in a row for TAC, was pre­sented to the TAC rep­re­sen­ta­tives dur­ing the Geely An­nual Dis­trib­u­tor Ser­vice and Spare Parts Con­fer­ence, held at the Geely head­quar­ters in China re­cently. Some 25 dis­trib­u­tors from around the world par­tic­i­pated in the con­test.

As the vi­sion of Geely Au­to­mo­bile In­ter­na­tional Cor­po­ra­tion (GAIC) is that of get­ting trans­formed from busi­ness trade to brand mar­ket­ing, the ser­vice also changes from ser­vice man­age­ment of dis­trib­u­tors to the sat­is­fac­tion man­age­ment of users. Ac­cord­ing to the reg­u­la­tion of ‘Eval­u­a­tion rules on after-sales ser­vice of Geely over­seas dis­trib­u­tors’, com­bined with the per­for­mance of the over­all co­op­er­a­tion be­tween dis­trib­u­tor and GAIC, and also for mo­ti­vat­ing the dis­trib­u­tor team to con­tinue im­prove­ment with fo­cus on user sat­is­fac­tion, user ex­pe­ri­ence and to en­hance the sense of re­spon­si­bil­ity and hon­our, GAIC has es­tab­lished awards for ex­cel­lent dis­trib­u­tors on Ser­vice Man­age­ment, CRM and Spare Parts Man­age­ment glob­ally.

The award was based on monthly eval­u­a­tion stan­dards of Geely Spare Parts Divi­sion, which in­cludes a range of param- eters such as spare parts man­age­ment, tech­nol­ogy, fore­cast orders, ex­press orders, spare parts claims and con­sis­tent feed­back to Geely on Elec­tronic parts cat­a­logue and Stock–sales tren­dreport­ing.

Geely Au­to­mo­bile In­ter­na­tional Cor­po­ra­tion main­tained month-on-month eval­u­a­tion re­sults of their dis­trib­u­tors world­wide, based on a points sys­tem. Tow­ell Auto Cen­tre was con­sis­tent in notch­ing up top scores, month after month, through­out 2017. Their ob­jec­tive was to en­hance the ef­fi­ciency and im­prove cus­tomer sat­is­fac­tion with the con­stant sup­ply of spare parts for Geely ve­hi­cles.

A Tow­ell Auto Cen­tre of­fi­cial said, “Driv­ing a Geely is all about liv­ing a happy life. Cus­tomers get the safest, most en­vi­ron­ment­friendly and en­ergy-sav­ing cars, mak­ing them happy with Geely. One couldn’t ask for any­thing more with mod­ern aero­dy­namic styling and safety be­ing the norm through the ac­qui­si­tion of Volvo and its de­sign boss Peter Hor­bury join­ing Geely. More­over, Geely be­lieves in con­tin­u­ous in­no­va­tion which is ap­par­ent by ac­quir­ing the US-based Ter­rafu­gia fly­ing car com­pany and its tech­no­log­i­cal know-how, among oth­ers.”

He added, “Here at TAC, we back this up with prompt af­ter­sales ser­vice and easy avail­abil­ity of parts, which means on-the-spot sat­is­fac­tion for cus­tomers with no de­lays, for which we have been awarded on the global stage.”
