Towell Auto Centre wins Geely global award
Towell Auto Centre (TAC), the sole distributor of Geely in Oman, known for their tried-andtested cars, prompt service and up to 97 per cent parts availability, have been selected by Geely Automobile International Corporation, as the Excellent Distributor –2017, in terms of Spare Parts Management.
Towell Auto Centre Spare Parts Division was awarded ‘Geely Global Best Distributor for Spare Parts Management’ for the year 2017. This award, the second in a row for TAC, was presented to the TAC representatives during the Geely Annual Distributor Service and Spare Parts Conference, held at the Geely headquarters in China recently. Some 25 distributors from around the world participated in the contest.
As the vision of Geely Automobile International Corporation (GAIC) is that of getting transformed from business trade to brand marketing, the service also changes from service management of distributors to the satisfaction management of users. According to the regulation of ‘Evaluation rules on after-sales service of Geely overseas distributors’, combined with the performance of the overall cooperation between distributor and GAIC, and also for motivating the distributor team to continue improvement with focus on user satisfaction, user experience and to enhance the sense of responsibility and honour, GAIC has established awards for excellent distributors on Service Management, CRM and Spare Parts Management globally.
The award was based on monthly evaluation standards of Geely Spare Parts Division, which includes a range of param- eters such as spare parts management, technology, forecast orders, express orders, spare parts claims and consistent feedback to Geely on Electronic parts catalogue and Stock–sales trendreporting.
Geely Automobile International Corporation maintained month-on-month evaluation results of their distributors worldwide, based on a points system. Towell Auto Centre was consistent in notching up top scores, month after month, throughout 2017. Their objective was to enhance the efficiency and improve customer satisfaction with the constant supply of spare parts for Geely vehicles.
