Ahlibank organises graduation ceremony

Ahlibank, one of the leading banks in Oman, recently held a graduation ceremony for the second batch of Management Trainees.

The ceremony was attended by the executive management team and the CEO of ahlibank – Said Abdullah al Hatmi, who gave away the certificat­es and appreciate­d the efforts of the trainees. These are the candidates from the second batch selected by ahlibank through their Management Trainee Program, an annual affair with the main objective to identify and foster local talent, contributi­ng to meeting the strong demand for leadership talent within the nation.

The trainees that graduated out this year comprise of young high potential Omanis who were elected through a rigorous selection process and were given the opportunit­y to learn and gain expertise in banking through classroom sessions, workshops, on-the-job training, challengin­g project work and presentati­ons as well as interactio­ns with dedicated mentors from the senior management of the bank, all preparing them to take up challengin­g positions within ahlibank in the near future.

The programme is conducted in associatio­n with an internatio­nal leading consultant and training firm The initiative not only promotes the developmen­t of a profession­al workforce of Omanis, but also plays an integral part to the bank’s annual re- cruitment efforts. Currently, the Bank is running the third and fourth batch of Management Trainees.

Said Abdullah al Hatmi - CEO of ahlibank emphasised, “We are proud to have the opportunit­y to provide training to these bright, young Omani talents and help them become self - reliant. We will provide them all the support that is required to enhance their leadership skills and equip them with the necessary skills to be productive contributo­rs.”
