Europcar all geared to host golf challenge

After the tremendous success of the last six editions of the Europcar Open, Al Mouj Golf course is once again ready to host the seventh edition which promises to be even more enthrallin­g on Friday, December 6.

As in every year, the Europcar Open Golf event will see the best golfers in the country competing for the Men’s Division 1, Men’s Division 2, Ladies and the Inter

Club Challenge trophies.

Europcar hosted a launch dinner at Mumtaz Mahal for the GM’s, captains of the four golf clubs from Oman and the sponsors and partners. The clubs were represente­d by Glen Canterford, Men’s Captain and Andrea Jackson, Ladies Captain Al Mouj Golf; S J Prakash, Men’s Captain and Evon Simson, Men’s Vice Captain, Ghala Valley Golf

Club; Ben Anderson, Men’s Captain, Fiona, Ladies Captain, Brett Merrell GM and Shawn Skibinsky, golf operations manager of Ras al Hamra; Mark Evans, Men’s Captain, Suna Jackson, Ladies Captain, Jade Lucas, operation manager and head profession­al and Mike Rennartson, GM Muscat Hills.

The title sponsor for this prime corporate golfing event is

Europcar Oman, and will be partnered by Mistal Watches. The event is jointly powered by Mitsubishi Motors and Al Ahlia Insurance. TravelPoin­t is the travel partner, Travelex is the foreign exchange partner, Amex is the lifestyle partner, Kempinski Muscat is the hotel partner, Al Seeb Technical Est (SARCO) is the electronic­s partner, WH Smith is the retail partner, and African & Eastern is the beverage partner.
