National programme for leadership launched
Under the patronage of H E Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal al Busaidi, Minister of Diwan of Royal Court, the National Collaborative Leadership Program in Public and Private Sectors was launched on Tuesday at ShangriLa Barr al Jissah Resort & Spa in Muscat.
The programme is intended to build a society based on qualified executive leadership in public and private sectors.
Applications will be open via the programme’s website till November 17.
The programme will begin in February 2020.
Dr Ali Qasim Jawad, advisor of research and studies at the Diwan of Royal Court, said, “The National Collaborative Leadership Program in Public and Private Sectors will result in an increase in effective participation between the two sectors, considering that collaboration between both is required in the commerce and investment fields.”
The programme consists of five modules expected to last ten months and to be carried out inside and outside of Oman. They will be based on innovation and sustainability.
The programme is designed to ensure that it provides excellent results for individuals, organisations and sectors. Its methodology will be based on educating the participants to ensure good results.
The National Collaboration Leadership Program of Private and Public Sectors will consist of 40 Omani executive leaders, 20 of whom will come from the public sector and 20 from the private sector.
