Mus­cat In­ter­na­tional Jew­ellery Ex­hi­bi­tion from De­cem­ber 3-7

The tenth Mus­cat In­ter­na­tional Jew­ellery Ex­hi­bi­tion (MIJEX),will be held at the Oman Con­ven­tion & Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­tre from De­cem­ber 3 to 7.

This year’s edition will have over 150 ex­hibitors from Oman, In­dia, Italy, Aus­tria, the UK, the US, Lithua­nia, Kuwait, Ye­men, Bahrain, Saudi Ara­bia, Thai­land, Malaysia, Sin­ga­pore, Hong Kong, Tur­key, Le­banon and the UAE.

The ex­hibitors will show­case their lat­est jew­ellery col­lec­tions, clas­sic best­sellers and in­spir­ing up-and-com­ing trends.

It will have a di­verse range of prod­ucts while new jew­ellery prod­ucts will be avail­able at the Europe, Hong Kong, In­dia and the Jovial watch pavil­ions.

The event is stag­ing its first run­way show as part of the tenyear cel­e­bra­tion.

The pavil­ions:

Europe: It takes its pride in ex­ten­sive knowledge as well as ex­cep­tional cus­tomer ser­vice. It will show­case in­com­pa­ra­ble se­lec­tion of de­signs from en­gage­ment ring, di­a­mond and fine jew­ellery. Hong Kong: It will cover all the bases, whether you’re into cou­ture pieces, ev­ery­day classics or more un­con­ven­tional styles. A wide range of qual­ity, de­signer time­pieces and jew­ellery will be on dis­play.

In­dia: A wide and var­ied range of jew­ellery will surely clasp your heart, be it gold, sil­ver or di­a­mond, you will find ev­ery­thing here.

Jovial watches: It’s an­other world. It will surely bring joy and self-as­sur­ance with their 90 years in the art of Swiss watch mak­ing.

In tan­dem with the many busi­ness up­grades, MIJEX mixes busi­ness with plea­sure. This year, Tourism Au­thor­ity of Thai­land will give a chance to two vis­i­tors to win a lux­ury trip to Thai­land with four days and three nights stay. Also, the ‘Jew­ellery for Kings’ Salem al Shueibi Jew­ellery will be or­gan­is­ing a raf­fle draw and the lucky vis­i­tor will get a chance to own one of their pre­cious handcrafte­d jew­ellery.

In ad­di­tion, Aus­trian Associatio­n will be con­duct­ing an auc­tion for chil­dren’s wel­fare. Dur­ing the open­ing day of MIJEX 2019, Dr Wolf Bialonz­cyk, the prizewin­ning jewel de­signer and world­wide renowned spe­cial­ist for melo pearls, is go­ing to auc­tion one of his cre­ations for Chil­dren First Associatio­n, chaired by H H Dr Mona bint Fahd bin Mah­moud al Said.

The auc­tion is sup­ported by Ger­hard Lack­ner, the Aus­trian Deputy Eco­nomic Del­e­gate in Mus­cat, Vega In­ter­trade & Ex­hi­bi­tions, and the Aus­trian Associatio­n Chair­man Ahmed Rad­wan.

Con­sumers can buy with con­fi­dence at the ex­hi­bi­tion as the prod­ucts are guaranteed by the Min­istry of Com­merce and In­dus­try and cer­ti­fied lab­o­ra­to­ries The Gem and Jew­ellery In­sti­tute of Thai­land, In­ter­na­tional Ge­mo­log­i­cal In­sti­tute and Gulf In­sti­tute of Ge­mol­ogy.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will take place at Hall 4 and 5.
