NBC dis­cus­sion high­lights mar­ket­ing prac­tices of SMEs

Mus­cat - The Na­tional Busi­ness Cen­tre (NBC), an ini­tia­tive of the Pub­lic Es­tab­lish­ment for In­dus­trial Es­tates – Ma­dayn, or­gan­ised a Rey­ooq dis­cus­sion event at the Knowl­edge Oa­sis Mus­cat on Tues­day.

Ti­tled, ‘Mar­ket­ing Prac­tices of Small and Medium En­ter­prises,’ the ses­sion com­prised speak­ers such as Hashar al Mand­hari, CEO of Alamah Mar­ket­ing, Ahmed Ibrahim, founder of Thu­rayabiz, and Hiba al Kiyumi, owner of Eva Clin­ics.

The dis­cus­sion ses­sion un­der­scored sev­eral mar­ket­ing re­lated top­ics of in­ter­est to the SMEs.

The speak­ers elab­o­rated on the sig­nif­i­cance of mar­ket­ing in the early stages of the SMEs, the dif­fer­ence be­tween mar­ket­ing and busi­ness de­vel­op­ment, and the de­vel­op­ment of mar­ket­ing strate­gies with lim­ited re­sources.

The ses­sion also high­lighted the im­por­tance of util­is­ing dig­i­tal mar­ket­ing tools through at­trac­tive meth­ods, the sig­nif­i­cance of align­ing brand iden­tity with the mar­ket­ing strat­egy, as well as pre­sented suc­cess­ful mar­ket­ing mod­els.
