Muscat teacher to compete in beauty pageant finals
Shailla Khan, a special needs teacher from Muscat will compete at the finals of Jeeo King and Queen 2019 (under the Mrs India International category) that is scheduled to take place in Kolkata on December 14.
Shailla was selected from contestants from all over India in the semifinals that took place in Dubai on December 6 and 7.
A resident of Muscat for the last two years, Shailla is a mother of three children. At the Jeeo Pageant in the semifinals, she trained and groomed under Liza Verma , Shaini Soni and Dr Varun Katiyal.
Shailla said, “The pageant has given me a platform and opportunity to speak on a variety of issues and primarily emotional abuse in relationships. I wish to win the Mrs India International pageant title. It will be a great honour and pride to win this title. I plan to spend more time in social welfare activities.”
Shailla also wants other women to dream big. “My aim is to make the world a better place. My success would not have been possible without the support of my husband Mohammed Shahnawaz Khan. He has been the constant driving force to realise my potential.”
