Bangladesh School Muscat celebrates 49th Victory Day with activities
On the occasion of 49th Victory Day of Bangladesh, Bangladesh School Muscat celebrated the day in a befitting manner.
A general assembly was conducted at 7.20pm in which National Anthems of Oman and Bangladesh were sung by the School Choir.
Principal Farzana Karim delivered a speech on the significance of the Victory Day, recalling the sacrifices of the martyrs during the liberation war. Dr Sajjad Husain Chowdhury, chairman – Board of Directors, and the rest of the BoD members and the parents were present during the assembly.
Various literary and art competitions were also held as a part of the celebration.
Colouring Competition (RecII), and literary competitions such as Bangla Story Telling Competition, (III&IV), Bangla Essay Writing Competition (V&VI and IX&X) and English Essay Writing Competition (VI&VIII and XI&XII) in addition to Art Competitions for Class
I-IV were held as part of the event.
Victorious students were given medals and certificates in the Annual Prize distribution ceremony held on December 17.
An Inter-House Football Tournament was also conducted and medals and trophies were given to winners.
