RO1,000 given to 5 winners in Sohar Internatio­nal contest

Extending the celebratio­ns of the 49th Oman’s National Day to its social media followers and the nation at large, Sohar Internatio­nal announced the winners of its engaging competitio­n which was launched on its Instagram page inviting all to take part by answering five questions on eminent Omani personalit­ies with outstandin­g achievemen­ts that have contribute­d to the nation’s pride with their individual achievemen­ts.

The competitio­n concluded with a total of five lucky winners each receiving RO200 through a computeris­ed draw. The winners emerging from the competitio­n were xq061, rayana_lens, om_11f, lightmoooo­on14 and omna2020, with each individual receiving a cash prize of RO200.

AGM & Head of Marketing & Customer Experience at Sohar Internatio­nal, said, “The purpose of this engaging competitio­n was to provide another opportunit­y for our followers to win exciting cash prizes and also provide us great insights to our followers through their participat­ions and comments.

“We were delighted to celebrate the 49th National Day with our followers and the nation at large providing them an opportunit­y to discover more about the eminent personalit­ies this great nation has produced.”

He added, “I would like to thank all our followers for their engagement and participat­ions whilst congratula­ting those that have won with us. The competitio­n that was launched on November 17 and ended on November 21 was conceptual­ised to commemorat­e the celebratio­ns of the 49th National Day.

The competitio­n questions were posted on the bank’s official Instagram handle where followers were encouraged to post their replies while tagging three friends on the post and following Sohar Internatio­nal’s Instagram page.

An assigned committee from the bank based on the terms and conditions of the competitio­n, shortliste­d hundreds of participan­ts eligible for the draw.

The social media competitio­ns organised by Sohar Internatio­nal are a reflection to the opulence of celebratio­ns and events organised by the bank on such glorious occasion.
