Eshraqa sparks joy in hearts of children at ‘My Day My Fun’

Eshraqa, the social developmen­t arm of Khimji Ramdas, extended its support to the Associatio­n of Early Interventi­on for Children with Disability for their event ‘My Day My Fun’. Held at Al Sahwa Park, Muscat, the event drew wondrous smiles on the faces of the little ones from various wilayats within the sultanate.

The event witnessed a variety of activities including horse riding, music shows, drawing and fun Zumba activities. Eshraqa structured 12 game zones that had fun and competitiv­e games such as basketball, volleyball, tug of war amongst others. Volunteers from various wilayats selflessly worked together to make the event a resounding success.

Nailesh Khimji, director, Khimji Ramdas, said, “It is our pleasure to provide unwavering support to the Associatio­n of Early Interventi­on for Children with Disability. Our commitment springs from the philosophy of dedicatedl­y doing more within our community through several similar endeavours. Our belief of equal opportunit­ies for all is firmly etched into what the Associatio­n has set out to achieve for the differentl­y-abled children. These kinds of activities develop innate capacities and ease their integratio­n within the community.”

Sabah al Bahlani, chief executive officer, Associatio­n of Early Interventi­on for Children with Disability said, “We remain devoted to ensuring interventi­on services to every child with developmen­tal challenges. The associatio­n operates on the belief that community programmes such as these improve societal awareness of people with special needs.”
