Eshraqa sparks joy in hearts of children at ‘My Day My Fun’
Eshraqa, the social development arm of Khimji Ramdas, extended its support to the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability for their event ‘My Day My Fun’. Held at Al Sahwa Park, Muscat, the event drew wondrous smiles on the faces of the little ones from various wilayats within the sultanate.
The event witnessed a variety of activities including horse riding, music shows, drawing and fun Zumba activities. Eshraqa structured 12 game zones that had fun and competitive games such as basketball, volleyball, tug of war amongst others. Volunteers from various wilayats selflessly worked together to make the event a resounding success.
Nailesh Khimji, director, Khimji Ramdas, said, “It is our pleasure to provide unwavering support to the Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability. Our commitment springs from the philosophy of dedicatedly doing more within our community through several similar endeavours. Our belief of equal opportunities for all is firmly etched into what the Association has set out to achieve for the differently-abled children. These kinds of activities develop innate capacities and ease their integration within the community.”
Sabah al Bahlani, chief executive officer, Association of Early Intervention for Children with Disability said, “We remain devoted to ensuring intervention services to every child with developmental challenges. The association operates on the belief that community programmes such as these improve societal awareness of people with special needs.”
