The tour is also being conducted to promote Al Saleel National Park which is close to the tour. “We are holding a tour for children above 13 years. “In 2019, the club organised a lot of tours to promote domestic tourism and create awareness on the risks of cancer. We will continue to organise these events to encourage community members to participate positively in sporting events and promote domestic tourism in South Sharqiyah. We call on Omani youth to take part in such voluntary campaigns for the betterment of the society. Registration for the tour can be done on 95403020.” As many as 305,405 people visited natural reserves in 2018, an increase of 25 per cent compared to 2017, stated the National Centre for Statistics and Information.
