Oman, Egypt sign agreement for training in civil service sector
The Ministry of Civil Service (MoCS) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian Central Agency for Organization & Administration on Tuesday.
The signing comes in wake of a visit by an Egyptian delegation currently on an official visit to the sultanate.
The agreement was signed by H E Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said al Marhoon, Minister of Civil
Service, and Dr Saleh Abdul Rahman al Sheikh, head of Agency for Organization and Administration in Egypt. The agreement aims to enhance cooperation in the areas of development, exchange of research and studies.
The meeting also comes within the framework of enhancing existing cooperation between the countries to exchange experiences in the fields of civil service and administrative development, human resource development, exchange of visions on activating information technology and simplifying procedures and work systems in the civil service sector. The historical relations between the two countries and aspects of joint cooperation in the fields of civil service and administrative development were also reviewed.
