Oman Air’s Zurich-Muscat flight (WY 154) on Sunday morning made a precautionary landing in Diyarbakir, Turkey.

In a statement, Oman Air said, ‘Earlier this morning, Oman Air flight WY 154 from Zurich to Muscat experienced a cabin pressurisation fault while in

board this flight were accommodated in hotels in the Diyarbakir area. We dispatched a replacement aircraft to Diyarbakir,

Turkey departing Muscat at 8pm on Sunday to repatriate our delayed guests back to Muscat. Our airports team worked with the authorities in Diyarbakir to look after our guests and ensure their swift and safe return.’

Oman Air said that it regrets any inconvenience this may have caused. ‘The safety and welfare of our guests and crew is our top priority,’ the airline stated.
