Ahlibank ‘Salary for Life’ winner announced
Ahlibank announced the third winner of its grand ‘Salary for Life’ draw as part of the 2020 Wafra Prize Scheme, committing to its on-going customer engagement strategy. S A S al Balushi from Sohar branch, bagged the RO250,000 grand prize money, which is RO1,000 to be paid monthly for 250 months, at a ceremony held at Ahlibank’s headquarters in the presence of the bank’s senior officials.
Commenting on the initiative, which has attracted many customers to the bank, Muneer al Balushi, head of Retail Distribution at Ahlibank, said, “In Ahlibank, we are continually working towards encouraging a savings culture among the people of Oman. The Wafra Prize scheme is a part of this endeavour as it provides an opportunity for customers to win a salary for a lifetime thereby giving them financial security.”
Wafra’s ‘Salary for Life’ includes a total mega prize of RO1mn won by four lucky customers, where RO250,000 is won every quarter, during the year! Customers who maintain a quarterly average balance of RO1,000 are eligible to participate in the ‘Salary for Life’ quarterly prize draw, as well as other prizes.
Balushi added, “Ahlibank’s wide-ranging products and services are designed to provide a unique and hassle-free banking experience to its customers. We value our customer’s needs and hope to continue creating opportunities for them to win big through a wide range of prizedraws throughout the year.”
In line with its objective of enhancing lives, ‘Wafra’, which means ‘abundance’ in Arabic, 2020 Prize Scheme, will award a total prize worth of over RO 1.8mn to more than 1,300 customers across Ahlibank’s branches in the sultanate. These are given away through Weekly, Monthly, Salary Transfer, Children’s, National Day, as well as other ‘Premium and Exclusive’ prize-draws.
Wafra’s weekly Prize Scheme rewards one guaranteed customer from each branch with RO500 and the Monthly Prize scheme rewards five winners with RO2,000 each.
