Logo design contest opens to celebrate role of women
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Blessed Renaissance and to highlight the role of Omani women in the development of the nation, the Ministry of Social Development (MoSD) has launched a logo design competition.
The competition was launched as the sultanate celebrated Omani Women’s Day on October 17.
The ministry said the competition is open to Omani individuals, local institutions and entrepreneurs in creative fields.
The ministry also stated that the logo must be inspired by the role of women in building and developing society.
‘The logo should be easy to use in various electronic and print media, and each participant can send up to three designs,’ the ministry said, adding that it has the right to amend the design.
The designs should be in AI or EPS formats and participants need to explain the idea of the logo and the colours used.
The winner of the competition will get RO2,000. Participants must send their designs by email to logo@mosd.gov.om before November 30.
