Bank Muscat opens modern branch at Madinat Sandan

In line with Bank Muscat’s vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’, the bank has announced the opening of its new branch in the Sandan Industrial City in Halban. The new branch, which features state-of-the-art facilities and the ‘best in class’ security practices, will further strengthen the largest bank network in the sultanate.

The expanding branch network, especially in areas where developmen­tal activities are gaining momentum, highlights Bank Muscat’s focus to remain the nation’s bank of first choice.

Madinat Sandan is the first integrated city for light industries in the sultanate and its strategic location will help the industrial city cater to businesses in Muscat and Batinah. With worldclass facilities, Sandan has many businesses from automotive, and constructi­on sectors along with warehouses and offices operating on its premises. The new Bank Muscat branch will offer a range of retail banking services including Current and Savings Accounts, Sayyarati Auto Finance and Baituna Home Finance in addition to cash deposit and withdrawal services as well as other retail banking facilities.

Saleh Mohammed al Maaini, assistant general manager – Muscat, Bank Muscat, said, “We are pleased to open our new branch in Sandan Industrial City to reach out to a large segment of the bank’s customers given that Madinat Sandan is one of the promising and upcoming commercial cities with a great future. It is expected to attract a large number of projects and commercial businesses, which will mean rising numbers of visitors, thereby increasing the need for banking and financial services in the area.”

Maaini added that the bank is committed to providing banking services and facilities across all governorat­es of the sultanate in order to reach out to the maximum number of customers.

Today, Bank Muscat has a network of 146 retail banking branches spread across all governorat­es of the sultanate and is the largest bank in Oman. Bank Muscat has distinguis­hed itself by providing the largest ATMCDM network with over 480 ATMs and 193 CDMs in Oman. In addition, Bank Muscat customers can use Meethaq ATMs and CDMs, and thus has ready access to about 784 devices across the country.

Bank Muscat’s online and mobile banking services provides customers a fast, comfortabl­e and secure banking experience, 24/7, from the comfort of their homes and offices. Retail banking customers extensivel­y use the various features available in the upgraded omni-channel Internet and Mobile banking such as bill payments, mobile top ups, payments within Oman and internatio­nal transfers.
