Ahli Islamic unveils its 2021 prize scheme

In line with its vision to increase the chances of winning for its customers and help them realise their dreams and enhance their financial stability, Ahli Islamic unveiled details of its new 2021 Qitaf prize scheme, which is Sharia’a compliant and based on the Islamic Mudaraba principle.

With the new scheme, the bank seeks to reward its customers with prizes totaling more than RO1,250,000, enabling more customers to win from its branches across the sultanate.

During the joyous ceremony which was streamed live on Ahli Islamic’s social media platforms and was attended by a number of bank’s officials, the bank announced the winner of the last quarter of 2020 Qitaf draw, wherein Yaqoob al Amri from Samail branch won a whopping RO100,000.

In 2020, Qitaf provided various categories of customers with the opportunit­y to win prizes totaling more than RO1mn.

Yousuf bin Salim al Rawahi, deputy general manager and head of Ahli Islamic Bank said, “The Islamic Qitaf account, launched in early 2020, reflects the bank’s vision to offer innovative banking solutions to its customers across the sultanate. We are delighted with the wide acceptance that the account has garnered since its launch, reflected in the increased rate of demand and deposit ratio, which further confirms that we are on track to achieve our customers’ aspiration­s to change their lives for the better.”

Qitaf aims to provide unique savings opportunit­ies to suit customer’s needs, thereby instilling a culture of wise savings among them and reward them for their commitment by holding weekly, monthly and quarterly prize draws and special event draws.

In its new draw programme for 2021, the bank has added new categories, including weekly draws for all customers in the bank's new branches, as well as weekly draws for children in both existing and new branches.

In order to honour and appreciate the active role and efforts of the teacher to prepare future generation­s and support the country's developmen­t journey, the bank has dedicated February 25, 2021 to conduct draws for Oman Teacher’s Day.

Qitaf prize scheme reflects Ahli Islamic's commitment to establishi­ng a culture of savings among its customers and rewarding them for their commitment and loyalty.
