‘Break fast at Sheraton Oman this Ramadan’

-

With ten live food stations and an array of cuisines - Omani, Arabic, Indian, Mediterranean and Italian - Sheraton Oman Hotel is one of the best places to break the fast this Ramadan. With well-sanitised, spacious prayer rooms for men and women, the hotel provides a number of facilities for the faithful and guests.

Samir Messaoudi, general manager, Sheraton Oman Hotel, said, “It’s been over a year since the pandemic hit us. We are happy to open our restaurants for iftar. We have taken every necessary measure, from social distancing, to insisting on the use of face masks to regular sanitisation, and have made safety the top priority of our property.”

He added that for all the dishes fresh ingredients are used.

“We have made sure that there are no queues [to serve food]. Our staff members are ready to assist the guests and visitors at all times,” he said.

After breaking the fast with dates, nuts and laban, the guests can proceed straight to the main course.

The hotel has its strict policy of avoiding food wastage. Prereservations are always welcome.

Messaoudi said, “We prefer pre-reservations so that we know exactly how may guests will come for iftar and prepare the food accordingly. This allows us to clearly curb the wastage of food. This year we see reduction in food being wasted.”

The iftar evening at Sheraton Oman is open from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. The hotel also offers takeaways and special night stays for Ramadan.
