Slaughterhouse working hours announced for Eid

Muscat - Muscat Municipality has revised the working hours of municipal slaughterhouses and launched an online service to reserve sacrifices.

Individual customers are required to book in advance on its social media sites. They will receive slaughtered animals in the morning - 7.30am to 11am – starting May 10 to the third day of Eid al Fitr. Livestock of companies and butcheries for slaughter will be processed at night and delivered next morning.

The slaughterhouses will revert to normal working hours on the fourth day of Eid al Fitr.
