Majan Electricit­y urges customers to pay bills via e-payment channels

Muscat - Majan Electricit­y Company, a leading electricit­y provider in Oman, has advised customers to use its e-payments platforms to pay bills for the ease and convenienc­e it offers.

‘Majan Electricit­y offers several smart, hassle-free and interactiv­e options to pay the bills. Customers can pay their bills online from anywhere by accessing their account through the Majan Electricit­y’s e-channels. The customers can use various banking channels linked to the system such as Nama Group portal www.electricit­y.com.om, mobile applicatio­ns, online banking and corporate banking,’ read a statement.

For corporate customers and government Majan offers a direct transfer of key subscriber­s to the company’s designated local bank accounts.

‘Majan customers can pay their electricit­y bills through mobile applicatio­ns of companies such as Nama app ( https:// oss. nama. om/ arom/login.aspx), Bill & Pay Mobile Applicatio­n (ONEIC), Khedmah Service mobile applicatio­n (OIFC), Tasdeed portal (https://www.tasdeed.om/EFportal/WhereToPay) for safe and easy payment.’

In addition, they can also pay through Omantel’s electronic payment machines available in the Omantel’s Customer Service outlets, commercial centres and some fuel filling stations or through direct debiting from the subscriber’s bank account to the company’s account in accordance with a tripartite agreement. On the other hands, customers can pay electricit­y bills by visiting the branches of the collection agents: Oman National Engineerin­g and Investment Company (ONEIC) and Oman Investment and Finance Company (OIFC), which have branches all over the sultanate.

By encouragin­g to switch to a virtual payment methods, Majan Electricit­y says it will keep users safe.
