College promotes Arabic language

Muscat - The Sultan Qaboos College for Teaching Arabic Language to Non-Native Speakers received 1,048 students from 2012 to 2019 from 55 countries.

The United States topped the list with 209 students, followed by 136 students from the United Kingdom and 113 students from Turkey. The college continues to promote Arabic language worldwide and introducing the Omani and Arab culture, as well as deepening the connections between different peoples. The college strives to turn the Arabic language into a bridge of human communication.

Othman Musa al Sa’adi, assistant director general of Educational Programmes, said that the college has started offering its first training courses for the academic year 2021/2022. The online courses target 12 Arabic language teachers from various colleges and universities of Uzbekistan.
