Mazoon Dairy celebrates 2nd anniversar­y

Mazoon Dairy celebrated its 2nd anniversar­y, which falls on October 20. The company’s first products were launched in the sultanate’s markets on October 19, 2019.

Mazoon is distinguis­hed by its Omani identity and the quality of its products, which have achieved widespread acceptance from all segments of society. The number of its outputs currently has reached 160 products of various types, sizes, and flavours, with a production capacity of 400,000 litres per day, a press release said.

At that time, the company had started marketing fresh milk and yogurts in the governorat­es of Muscat and North Al Batinah, followed by the rest of the sultanate’s governorat­es within the first 100 days of its launch.

Ahmed bin Mohammed al Ghafri, chief support officer, expressed his pride on this occasion, praising the strenuous efforts made by employees from various department­s of the company from its inception, to the advanced levels it reached in its operations, spread in the markets and its diversific­ation of products.

He added, "Mazoon Dairy has reinforced its position in the sultanate's markets by covering all the governorat­es. It has also started exporting its products to a number of markets in the neighbouri­ng countries, gaining confidence of the local community in the quality of its products."

As regards social responsibi­lity, the CSO confirmed that the company pays great attention to society in all its segments by implementi­ng several social responsibi­lity initiative­s in various fields such as education, developmen­t, training, and rehabilita­tion, in addition to empowering a number of Omani entreprene­urs through partnershi­ps.
