To ease the process of tanking up, Al Maha Petroleum Products Marketing Company has a new service called Fuely.

It is a new app driven fuel delivery service directly to customer’s cars - a market-first innovation in Oman – Al Maha claimed.

The app was launched at a press conference in InterContinental Muscat on Sunday under the auspices of H E Salim Nasser al Aufi, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Energy and Minerals.

The app was developed to meet the increasing demand for contactless services and easy transactions.

Customers can download the ‘Fuely by Al Maha’ app from Google Play Store or Apple App Store, order fuel and have it delivered to their cars, instead of having to drive to a fuel station to fill up.

Launching Fuely, Hamed al Mahgdri, CEO of Al Maha, said, “We realised through market research that there is a segment of customers who feel stressed while driving to and visiting a fuel station. This is exactly what we set out to change just under a year ago.”

Through Fuely, customers have the convenience of ordering high-quality petrol from Al Maha to be delivered by dedicated, safety-trained Omani ‘Fuely Captains’ directly to their vehicles at their home or office.

After downloading Fuely, customers need to enter a few basic details, select a delivery time and location and complete the payment online. Once the order has been placed, Fuely Captains deliver fuel within the appointed time slot to the location of the customer’s vehicle.

The service is initially being launched in Mawaleh South, Al Mouj, Al Hail North and South, and plans are in place to expand coverage to other parts of Muscat city and beyond.
