Al Tajheez Al Ilmi Private School opens admission

-

Al Tajheez Al Ilmi Private School, one of the most established private schools in Oman that provides a comprehensive learning experience, has begun admission for students from Kindergarten to grade 12 for the 2022-23 academic year.

The North Ghubra-based school has come a long way from merely an elementary school to become a full-fledged secondary school, teaching students from KG classes to grade 12, trusted by thousands of parents for nearly three decades.

As a monolingual institution, Al Tajheez school offers worldclass education by excellent teachers from various nationalities and follows the same curriculum of government schools. However, plans are afoot to switch to bilingual classes after securing accreditation from either Cambridge or Oxford.

In the meantime, Al Tajheez school offers students the opportunity to learn science and maths in English as well as Arabic.

The school, which focuses on developing each student in line with their strength, talent, and inclination, offers scholarships to outstanding students in grades 11 and 12 in the form of a partial or full discount on the tuition fees, depending on their scores.

To become eligible to get a scholarship, scores on the entrance test will be considered for new students, while the overall academic achievement of the previous year is taken into account for existing students.

As a purpose-built school, the Al Tajheez school campus provides airconditioned classrooms, capping the number of students per classroom at 20, WiFi and ethernet facilities, playgrounds, computer room, music room, library, laboratories, and a multipurpose fall for extracurricular activities. As part of an initiative to foster creativity as well as mental and physical skills of young minds, Al Tajheez school offers extracurricular activities in various disciplines.

Al Tajheez school, a family business owned by educators and industry leaders, has strong backing from a highly qualified professional team.

The two founders - Tawfiq Aziz and his wife Haifa al Batti - are renowned in Oman’s education field, thanks to their teaching career spanning over six decades in varying capacities, such as teachers, principals, and mentors.

In fact, they touched the lives of generations of children, many of whom have now become leaders and highly skilled professionals in the country’s economic landscape.

Starting their career as teachers in Al Saadiyah School and Al Zahraa School in Muscat, the couple set up Al Najah School in Ruwi as their first educational institution, then opened the main branch of the school in Qurm in the eighties, which was later taken over by a new group and renamed as Muscat Private School.

After gaining rich experience over the years, the duo set up Al Tajheez school in 1994 to provide a transformative education for preparing children for a complex, challenging, and competitive future.

Tawfiq passed away in December 2020 and is survived by his wife and five children, who are all professionals. The family is determined to preserve his legacy by continuing his relentless pursuit of quality education in the sultanate.
