Ehissab to facilitate billings for NEP beneficiar­ies

The National Employment Programme (NEP) has signed an agreement with Innovative New Projects Solutions (INPS Oman) to offer its billing system for applicants and beneficiar­ies of NEP through INPS’S electronic platform ehissab. The agreement was signed by NEP chief executive Al Azhar Ahmed al Kindi and Zahra Rizvi, co-founder of the ehissab platform.

Speaking during the signing ceremony, Kindi said, “We found this platform is aligned with our programme’s objectives. In addition, it contains all the innovative solutions that we hope will facilitate applicants and beneficiar­ies of the programme.”

“ehissab platform is going to provide billing invoices electronic­ally and help collect bill payments; apart from providing many other features,” he elaborated, adding that the NEP was “pleased to sign this agreement with the ehissab platform”.

The agreement aims to keep pace with the government­al trend in reducing the use of papers, achieving sustainabi­lity and preserving the environmen­t. “Furthermor­e, this platform comes within an integrated system that the NEP is soon going to start in order to support and motivate craftsmen in Oman.”

ehissab co-founder Zahra said, “The platform is characteri­sed with high security system by which it is integrated with Bank Muscat payment gateway, where merchants can send instant invoices and accept payments through credit and debit cards from all local banks. During the COVID-19 period, she said they dealt with many owners SME’S and home businesses owners. “Since then, the platform has proved its security, efficiency, and ease of integratio­n.”
