US Ambassador visits Reem Batteries
As part of the annual ‘Discover America’ campaign, US Ambassador H E Leslie M Tsou visited the Reem Batteries and Power Appliances (RBPA) office and factory last month.
The Discover America campaign celebrates the strong commercial partnership between Oman and the United States, including the Free Trade Agreement that has bolstered growing trade and investments between the two countries. The delegation - led by H E Leslie, Garry Schumann, Economic & Commerce Officer and Raji Daniel, Trade Advisor of the US Embassy were welcomed and escorted on the tour of Reem Batteries factory by RBPA management along with Board Members.
“I am delighted to see Omani companies such as Reem Batteries taking advantage of the USOman Free Trade Agreement and exporting unique Omani products to the United States,” said H E Leslie. “My team is committed to enhancing US- Oman economic relations by supporting US and Omani companies like RBPA. Us-oman trade is on track to hit record levels this year, a testament to the strength of our bilateral relationship.”
