Local sales of refineries rise 18% in Oman

Muscat – Total local sales of oil refineries in Oman increased by

18.2 per cent in the first nine months of 2022 compared to the correspond­ing period in 2021, ac

cording to the latest data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Informatio­n (NCSI).

Oman’s production of M-95 petrol rose by 8.8 per cent to 11.41mn barrels compared to the same period in 2021. Sales of M95 petrol slightly decreased by 0.1 per cent to 9.49mn barrels.

The production of M-91 petrol declined by 0.6 per cent at 9.87mn barrels compared to the same period in 2021. Sales of M91 petrol jumped by more than 50 per cent to 9.62mn barrels in

the first nine month of this year, while exports declined by 71.2 per cent to reach 1.1mn barrels.
