Arab Open University launches its new brand
Arab Open University celebrated the 20th anniversary of its establishment and the inauguration of its new branded identity on Sunday. The celebration included a virtual exhibition of the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz under the title 'A History Read by Generations'.
The ceremony concluded with a presentation of the new identity reveal and most important details of the new identity.
Prof Dr Mohammed bin Hamdan al Badi, the university rector said, “We at the Arab Open University do not aim to provide a
high-quality education at a world-class level only, but we
also seek to provide a curriculum that nurtures the aspirations of our students, keeps pace with the developments taking place,
and provides a sound educa
tional model.” “It transcends geographical and socio-economic
borders and obstacles, raises our students towards the horizons of creativity and enables them to shape their future and the future of their societies.”
He added that the Arab Open University provides the opportunity for its students to unleash
their ambitions in horizons that know no borders. “The launch of new brand comes in preparation for the next phase of the expansion of the Arab Open University and the reallocation to the university's new building in the Sultanate of Oman.”
