Arab Open University launches its new brand

Arab Open University celebrated the 20th anniversar­y of its establishm­ent and the inaugurati­on of its new branded identity on Sunday. The celebratio­n included a virtual exhibition of the late Prince Talal bin Abdulaziz under the title 'A History Read by Generation­s'.

The ceremony concluded with a presentati­on of the new identity reveal and most important details of the new identity.

Prof Dr Mohammed bin Hamdan al Badi, the university rector said, “We at the Arab Open University do not aim to provide a

high-quality education at a world-class level only, but we

also seek to provide a curriculum that nurtures the aspiration­s of our students, keeps pace with the developmen­ts taking place,

and provides a sound educa

tional model.” “It transcends geographic­al and socio-economic

borders and obstacles, raises our students towards the horizons of creativity and enables them to shape their future and the future of their societies.”

He added that the Arab Open University provides the opportunit­y for its students to unleash

their ambitions in horizons that know no borders. “The launch of new brand comes in preparatio­n for the next phase of the expansion of the Arab Open University and the reallocati­on to the university's new building in the Sultanate of Oman.”
