MHD-ITICS brings together 27 artists to paint map of Oman

In preparatio­n for Oman’s 52nd National Day, the Infrastruc­ture,

Technology, Industrial and Consumer Solutions cluster of Mohsin Haider Darwish LLC (MHD-ITICS), supported an event that brought together 27

artists from across the country to paint a three-metre by two

metre map of the Sultanate of Oman.

The event, held under the auspices of Guest of Honour H H Sayyid Kamil bin Fahd bin Mahmoud al Said, the Secretary-general of Oman’s General Secretaria­t of the Cabinet of Ministers, experience­d a morning of unity, inspiratio­n and empowermen­t of Oman’s art community.

Oman, Together’ showcased a montage portraying the journey of the painting, featuring picturesqu­e landscapes and testimonia­ls from the artists.

This was followed by the unveiling of the Map of Oman by H H Sayyid Kamil. Honourable Lujaina Mohsin Darwish then delivered a keynote speech. To add to the exuberance of the morning, Oman’s well-renowned singer and songwriter, Haitham Rafi enthralled the audience with his par excellence performanc­e.
