Suleiman bin Hamoud al Naabi, 42, from Muscat Governorat­e, is

the first Omani adventurer who has scaled six of seven summits, including Everest, Aconcagua, Denali, Kilimanjar­o, Elbrus, and Puncak Jaya.

The year 2022 saw his biggest successful climb - Mt Everest. During the same trip, he conquered Lhotse peak, the fourth highest peak in the world, at 8,516m above sea level.

Besides the six summits, Naabi also conquered the summit of Mont Blanc in France - the highest mountain in the Alps and West

ern Europe, rising to 4,807.81m. He informed that his adventure spree was part of the Explorer’s Grand Slam programme under which climbers aim to reach seven summits on every continent, besides reaching the south and north poles.
