Ali Salim Ali al Busaidi was

awarded, earlier this year, an honorary doctorate by the Kingdom of Morocco Union of Inventors for inventing an emergency device - called Musif - to speed up response time during traffic accidents.

Busaidi was also awarded the World Cup 2022 for Invention and Scientific Research, which was held in Tunisia, in September, as part of the 8th Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 8).

In 2021, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MOCIIP) granted a patent for his device. Musif aims to reduce the number of victims of traffic accidents, and speed up the response time through rapid communication with emergency

teams in the sultanate.
