47 projects worth Ro10mn to develop Dakhliyah
Dakhliyah is implementing 47 projects worth Ro10mn through the Governorate Development Programme, according to H E Dr Nasser bin Rashid al Mawali, Undersecretary in the Ministry of Economy.
H E Mawali met Hilal al Hajri, Governor of Dakhliyah, last week, in the presence of representatives of several government institutions in the governorate, to review the projects that are currently being implemented in the governorate.
“These projects are related to paving and maintenance work of roads, developing markets, gardens and public parks, in addition to other miscellaneous projects with a social dimension or for economic return,” H E Mawali said.
He visited project sites, including the Izki-firq dual carriageway, Daris Bahla Road and Nizwa Park.
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik raised the amount allocated to the Governorate Development Programme from Ro10mn to Ro20mn for each governorate for the current FiveYear Plan (2021-2025), starting from 2022.
Hajri confirmed some development projects have started, while others are in final stages of completion.
