Al Tamimi & Company celebrates merger with Oman’s BK Law firm
Al Tamimi & Company, the leading law firm in the Middle East and North Africa, held a special event on Sunday evening to celebrate its recent merger with Omani firm BK Law.
The event, which was held at the Intercontinental Muscat, featured a keynote speech delivered by Al Tamimi & Company’s chairman Essam al Tamimi.
He highlighted the firm’s vision for Oman and its mission to support the next generation of talent within the legal industry.
The evening, which offered a scope for the company to connect with the local business community, brought together esteemed guests, executives, and ministerial colleagues for an evening of networking and live oud music performed by local Omani artists.
“We celebrated our 10th anniversary in Oman last year, and during this time we have seen
significant growth and opportunity across key sectors, and this includes closely aligning our vision to supporting Oman Vision 2040,” said Ahmed al Barwani, head of Al Tamimi & Company’s Oman office, while commenting on the event.

Basma al Kiyumi, Head of Dispute Resolution – Oman, said that the BK’S decision to merge with Al Tamimi & Company was one that “we did not have to deliberate on for long”.
She said that the mutual values of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to excellence were aligned and made the decision an easy one. “It also meant that the integration was seamless,” she added.
