OMFA engages Al Tamimi for legal advice, support
Al Tamimi & Company, a leading law firm in the Middle East and North Africa, signed a memorandum of understanding on Monday with Oman Manufacturers Association.
The ceremony marked a cooperation agreement between the two parties, whereby the law firm will provide legal consultation and support in drafting contracts when required.
In return, Oman Manufacturers Association (OMFA) will provide educational workshops to the association and its members led by Al Tamimi & Company.
The MOU was signed by Dr Hilal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed al Hinai, Chairman, OMFA, and Ahmed al Barwani, Partner and Head, Oman office at Al Tamimi & Company.
The event was also attended by Ahmed Khalid Ahmed al Barwani, Board Director at OMFA and Director of Sector Skills Unit for the Manufacturing Sector (SSUM), Mohamed Ali al Rashdi, Director of Board Affairs - OMFA and Secretary of the Board of Directors - SSUM.
Commenting on the agreement, Barwani, said, “With the signing of this agreement we will further strengthen our relationship with OMFA and ensure we share vital regulatory updates with the association and its members through educational workshops.”
Dr Hinai said, “Today, we celebrate the momentous occasion of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Al Tamimi & Company and OMFA. This MOU marks the beginning of a fruitful partnership, one that will bring forth immense benefits for both parties involved.
“This strategic alliance ensures that OMFA can navigate the complex legal landscape with confidence. This support will undoubtedly empower OMFA to make informed decisions, mitigate risks, and achieve sustainable growth.
“Likewise, this MOU also provides Al Tamimi & Company with a gateway to the manufacturing sector in Oman. This collaboration enhances their ability to provide specialised legal solutions to manufacturers.”
