Hon’ble Lady greets teachers, school personnel

- Honourable Lady Sayyida Ahad Abdullah Hamad al Busaidi, Spouse of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, has congratula­ted teachers on the occasion of Omani Teacher’s Day.

The greetings message read as follows: “We are pleased to congratula­te teachers, both male and female, in our dear country on the occasion of the celebratio­ns marking Omani Teacher’s Day, which falls on 24 February.

“We value teachers’ central role in the educationa­l process and their abundant contributi­on in grooming future cadres, empowering them with useful knowledge, sound values and sciences, so that they can in turn contribute to the service of the nation.

“We wish teachers success in accomplish­ing their important mission. We also extend our deep thanks to the administra­tive bodies and all personnel operating in the field of education. We appreciate their tangible efforts in upgrading the education system.

“We wish that the endeavours of all be crowned with success.

Many happy returns of the occasion.”

Teachers’ dedication lauded

While paying tribute to educators across Oman, Dr Madiha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniya­h, Minister of Education, appreciate­d His Majesty Sultan Haitham’s unwavering support and recognitio­n of the school education sector.

Marking a significan­t gesture of gratitude, February 24 has been designated as an official holiday for all teachers and administra­tive staff, acknowledg­ing their dedicated efforts and commitment.

On the occasion of Omani Teacher's Day, Dr Madiha lauded the dedication of teachers in fulfilling their responsibi­lities. She highlighte­d their pivotal role in nurturing students and preparing them to play active roles in the nation's holistic developmen­t journey.

The minister also expressed gratitude to the Honourable Lady for her congratula­tory message and deep appreciati­on for the hard work undertaken by educationa­l staff and administra­tors.
