In February 2023, Chery unveiled the super hybrid platform, incorporating the latest thirdgeneration hybrid technology and a fifth-generation hybriddedicated engine. The super hybrid platform integrates Chery's 26 years of intelligent manufacturing expertise and global toptier ecological resource advantages, enabling the development of powerful derivatives for various vehicle types, classes and functionalities such as SUVS, MPVS, and SDS. This platform aims to provide owners with a more upscale quality of driving and an ultimate driving experience.

In April 2023, Chery had hosted Chery New Energy Night,and announced a comprehensive new energy strategy during the launch conference. The unveiling included an impressive line-up of 135 new technologies, such as the super hybrid platform and the E0X high-performance electric platform, as well as advancements in intelligentisation and ecological technologies. The array of innovations covered the third-generation of hybrid technology, battery technology, electric drive technology, Chery's self-developed CHERY-OS system, intelligent driving technology, and more.

In June 2023, Chery officially launched the super hybrid-dedicated engine and transmission, marking Chery's entry into the ‘Hybrid Golden Era’. This technology integrates Chery's leading prowess across various technological domains, representing a comprehensive innovation.
