The agreement, signed in the presence of Najeeb bin Ali bin Ahmed al Rawas, Governor of Dhahirah, and representatives from both public and private sectors, on Monday underscores a significant collaboration aimed at bolstering healthcare services in the governorate.
The pact was formalised by Jameel bin Mohammed Shakeel, Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Sohar Aluminium, and Dr Ahmed bin Said bin Khamis al Kalbani, Director General of Health Services in Dhahirah.
The initiative is a testament to the shared commitment of the public and private sectors towards enhancing Oman's healthcare landscape, specifically aiming to support government's endeavours to improve health services and foster sustainable community development across various governorates.
Ahmed bin Mohammed al Kharusi, GM of HR and Corporate Affairs at Sohar Aluminium, highlighted the significance of the project, describing it as a continuation of the company's sustained efforts in social investment in the healthcare sector. "This initiative not only adds to our portfolio of contributions towards healthcare but also reaffirms our dedication to supporting vital sectors for the betterment of society," Kharusi said.
