Refurbishe­d Samsung service centre in Azaiba to improve customer experience

Samsung Gulf Electronic­s opened a refurbishe­d state-ofthe-art customer service plaza in Azaiba on Wednesday. Spread over 400sqm, it will be staffed by a team of skilled engineers. While the brand boasts of minimum service time for its customers, the centre is expected to improve facilities further.

Operated by Samsung partner SARCO Oman, the new upgraded centre is designed to provide a modern customer service experience in line with global standards. The centre offers comprehens­ive mobile and tablet repairs, software updates and mobile phone recycling services.

This cutting-edge facility not only provides comprehens­ive repair and update services but also fosters an environmen­t for customers to discover our latest devices and enjoy enhanced customer experience­s," said Kiran Tewari, Director of Customer Service, Samsung Gulf Electronic­s.

A key aspect of the centre is a dedicated zone that provides customers an interactiv­e space to explore and experience Samsung's latest cutting-edge devices. To make the most of customers' visits to the Experience Zone, Samsung has introduced a sales function that allows customers to purchase the brand's flagship devices onsite across various product categories, including mobile phones, television­s and home appliances during their visit.

Additional­ly, a new soundbar and vacuum cleaner - Jet AI - were launched at the Experience Zone. Customers can connect their mobile devices via the Smartthing­s app and immerse themselves in the latest soundbar technology.

Currently, there are three service centres for Samsung in Muscat and one each in Sohar and Salalah. Plans are afoot to open one in Nizwa soon. Samsung has 50 skilled service staff in the sultanate to assist customers.
