An exquisite array of Ramadan-inspired experiences awaits as you celebrate moments of joy and togetherness.

With expansive venues and space, each Ramadan experience will give guests generous space and privacy; residents of Muscat and beyond are invited to dine on a range of Ramadan classics and global favourites, paired with live performances throughout the month, a press release said.

“Every year we bring in new savoury collections for Ramadan and diverse options for our guests to ensure an authentic experience. With chefs coming from countries across the world, our Iftar selections combines unique selections from Oman, Middle East and beyond. Guests can dine while witnessing the live oud players against a perfect backdrop, just a 20-minute drive from the city. We highly recommend the Layali Ramadan with two options of Suhoor, from the traditional tent to the open-sky Sio2 Beach Lounge,” said René D Egle, area general manager of Shangri-la Barr al Jissah and Shangri-la Al Husn, Muscat.

Al Tanoor restaurant is serving a delicious Iftar buffet, featuring a host of delectable traditional Ramadan delicacies inspired by local, regional, and international cuisines. The extensive buffet spread will showcase live and A la minute stations including hot and cold mezze, Omani specials, a variety of regional dishes, mixed grill, and classic desserts, along with traditional Ramadan beverages and live entertainment such as Oud players. With the mild weather conditions, Al Tanoor is extending its seating area on the patio enabling guests to enjoy their meals in the gorgeous alfresco setting overlooking the beach.

This Ramadan, Layali is getting bigger with two seating ambiences. Guests and residents of Oman have the options between the air-conditioned Layali Ramadan tent or simply enjoy the mild weather conditions at the Si02 Beach Lounge. Both venues are located next to each other and are presenting a savoury selection of appetisers paired with the sounds of traditional live music.

Diners are also invited to experience Iftar with an Indian twist at Aangan by Rohit Ghai. The Michelin-star Chef Rohit Ghai has personally curated a 7course shared menu for two with dishes that include Aloo Tikki, Prawns Masala, Charred Chicken, Chicken Biryani and much more to savour during this holy

Set against the backdrop of rugged mountains and the Gulf of Oman, families and friends can elevate their iftar or suhoor experience when dining in our beautifully adorned cabanas.
