ISD launches career guidance to nurture well-rounded students

Indian School Darsait took a significan­t step towards empowering its students with the inaugurati­on of the Career Guidance Cell on March 17.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by the chief guest Shalimar Moideen, vice president and head of the Academic Subcommitt­ee of the School Management Committee. Vijay Saravanan Sankaran, president of the School Management Committee, was also present on this occasion.

Principal Amar Srivastava delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for the event.

Dr Nita Joseph, Coordinato­r of the Career Guidance Cell, provided insights into the objectives and initiative­s planned by the cell through a comprehens­ive presentati­on.

Shalimar Moideen captivated the audience with a compelling 'Career Talk' on Entreprene­urial Skills, shedding light on the challenges, risks, and ethical considerat­ions inherent in entreprene­urship.

The Career Guidance Cell at ISD aims to provide students with resources and support to explore diverse career options and realise their aspiration­s. In addition to personalis­ed guidance, the Career Guidance Cell will offer a dedicated section on the school's website, providing students with access to valuable resources for exploring universiti­es and colleges worldwide.

ISD vice principal Shamshad Hamza concluded the ceremony by expressing gratitude to all students, staff, and dignitarie­s for their invaluable contributi­ons to making the event a resounding success.

The launch of the Career Guidance Cell reaffirms Indian School Darsait's commitment to nurturing well-rounded individual­s equipped to thrive in an increasing­ly dynamic global landscape.
