Knowledge Oman and Techno sign collaborat­ion MOU

Following the recent announceme­nt of the community knowledge-sharing platform’s founder return, and as part of its commitment to further strengthen the community engagement through strategic partnershi­ps, Knowledge Oman has signed a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MOU) with Techno Plastic Industry, specialisi­ng in the manufactur­ing of plastic piping solutions, to collaborat­e on community engagement and social responsibi­lity.

The signing ceremony was held on Tuesday the 19th of March 2024 at the Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC. The agreement was signed by Eng. Omar Ahmed Salim Qatan, CEO of Techno along with Tariq Hilal al Barwani, Knowledge Oman Founder, in the presence of its senior management and executives of both organisati­on, a press release said.

“Supporting community developmen­t and education as a whole is rooted in our Techno’s core values. Knowledge Oman’s commitment to enhancing learning opportunit­ies and empowering individual­s resonates deeply with our company's goals. It is indeed our honour to collaborat­e with Knowledge Oman on community engagement­s. This collaborat­ion is a step towards achieving sustainabi­lity and social developmen­t for the country and what the company’s leadership aspires to in conjunctio­n with achieving the vision 2040,” said Omar bin Sulaiman al Bahri, general manager of Commercial Affairs at Techno Plastic Industry.

“Quality community service today without the presence of strategic partners may not be complete. Therefore, one of the aims of Knowledge Oman’s new strategic direction is to form and work closely with like-minded organisati­ons for the benefit of society. We are proud to partner and work closely with Techno to fulfill the mission,” said Balqees al Hassani, president, Knowledge Oman.

The signing of the MOU marks an important milestone in the collaborat­ive efforts of Knowledge Oman and Techno to leverage their combined resources and expertise for the betterment of the communitie­s and the society as a whole. Building upon their shared values and objectives, the MOU solidifies their commitment to working together on a variety of community-focused initiative­s, and a dedication towards making a meaningful difference in the lives of individual­s and families.

As part the recent changes and developmen­t within the community knowledge-sharing platform, Knowledge Oman will be announcing new initiative­s in April specifical­ly aimed at enriching society with positive values.
