The Tiggo 7 Pro, as the flagship model in the Tiggo 7 family, was honoured with a "five-star safety" rating in December 2023 through rigorous testing by a renowned Australian automotive safety rating organisation. In the crash test results, the Tiggo 7 Pro scored 88% in adult occupant protection, 72% in pedestrian, cyclist, and motorcycle user protection, and 86% in safety assistance, ultimately receiving the highest five-star safety rating.
Additionally, the Tiggo 7 Pro is equipped with safety assistance systems such as AEB (Autonomous Emergency Braking),
LKA (Lane Keep Assist), ELK (Emergency Lane Keep) within the LSS (Lane Support System),
BSM (Blind Spot Monitoring), and SAS (Speed Assistance System) with a SLIF (Speed Limit Information Function) and IACC (intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control), among others.
The five-star rating not only symbolises the Tiggo 7 Pro's high-level passive safety performance but also highlights the effectiveness of its advanced active safety technology and driving assistance systems. ANCAP CEO Carla Hoorweg stated, "2023 has been a record year for new car sales, and with the release of new ANCAP fivestar safety ratings, we see mainstream and emerging brands expanding choices for safetyconscious consumers."
Furthermore, the safety design details of the Tiggo 7 Pro reflect a thorough consideration for comprehensive passenger protection, ensuring that every journey is a safe and reliable one. For example, the model comes standard with the Bosch ESP 9.3 electronic stability control system, which, by precisely monitoring the vehicle's dynamic state, can automatically adjust the vehicle's posture in extreme driving conditions, effectively preventing loss of control and skidding and significantly enhancing driving safety.
